Artist Statement
Beth seeks to invoke beauty, balance, and harmony in her paintings. Art should uplift the spirit and feed the soul, allowing human spaces to feel light, creative, and nourishing. A home without art doesn’t feel like a home, and art should inspire a person every day to be their best self. When Beth creates in her studio she considers these aspects of humanness in her work, and so she approaches her easel and paints as a place of warmth and welcome.
Each painting is a timeless expression of beauty and comfort, generating feelings of peace and home.
Artist Bio
Beth Lenco is a Nova Scotia born visual artist working in two dimensional media: watercolour, acrylic, oil, and drawing mediums on paper, canvas and wood. Educated at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, and the Art College of Kelowna, Beth continues a daily studio practice for over 25 years. Beth’s focus is on still lives and ocean landscapes around her home in Blandford Nova Scotia.
